Please be informed that the Ministry of Health & Ministry of Interior in coordination with all concerned authorities will be launching a National Disinfection Programme which entails a complete sterilisation of all public utilities, public transport and metro services all across the UAE during the weekend. The programme will begin today, 26 March 2020 at 8:00 PM and end on Sunday 29 March 2020, at 6:00 AM. During this period, traffic and public movement will be restricted to trips for purchasing of food, basic essentials, medicine, and to transport to work. Public transportation and metro services will be halted. You are urged to stay at home during the disinfection time and do not to go out unless it's absolutely necessary. Please follow instructions during the sanitation time for your safety and in compliance with the precautionary measures taken by the UAE to contain COVID-19. Not following the instructions might lead to disciplinary actions. Stay safe, stay home!
